ROBERT T. CIRONE
Bob grew up in the Boston area and after
graduation from high school entered the US Army. After a
tour in Vietnam, he spent a year in Heidelberg, Germany.
Upon graduation from the University of Missouri (Kansas
City), in 1973 with a degree in Business Administration,
he began his surety career with Firemens Fund Insurance
Company. He spent four years in Kansas City prior to
being invited by Mr. Lilly in 1980 to join GLSB in
Lincoln and add continuity to the agency. Bob has been
President of the agency since March 1982.
Bob and his wife, Sharon, have two
children, Jessica and Kevin and enjoy traveling in their
spare time. Bob also enjoys golf. JAMES M. KING
Jim is a Nebraska native, born and
raised in Omaha. He attended the University of
Nebraska from 1979 through 1983 while employed as a
State Trooper with the Nebraska State Highway
Patrol. In 1983, Jim entered the insurance
business focusing on business insurance planning. Jim
joined GLSB in the spring of 1988 and is co-owner and
Vice-President.
Jim and Peggy, his wife, have two
children, Betsy and Tom. They reside on an acreage
east of Lincoln. Jim enjoys the outdoors, hunting and
fishing and an occasional round of golf. TAMMY HURLBUT
Tammy started with GLSB in February
2004, She graduated from Lincoln School of Commerce with
a degree in Accounting and has been working in that
field ever since. With over 15 years experience in
bookkeeping and office management, she is responsible
for processing all bond premiums and manages the
office.
Tammy and her husband, Dennis, have one
child, Joshua. They enjoy attending car races,
boating and fishing.
ANITA
MOORE
Prior to coming to Gene Lilly in 2003,
Anita was in the banking profession for 25 years in
Colorado and Nebraska. She attended Southeast Community
College, earning her Certificate in Microcomputer
Technology. Anita is our miscellaneous bond specialist
and handles most of our bond requests.
Anita and Jim, her husband have three
children. Their oldest son and daughter live in Colorado
and their youngest son and his family live in
Australia. Anita and Jim enjoy traveling and
outdoor activities. Anita is an active member of
her church choir and council.
JACOB J.
BUSS
Jake is a Lincoln native and graduate of
the University of Nebraska and has been with Gene Lilly
since 2004. He obtained his Nebraska Producer’s License
in 2006. Jake manages the Omaha office. In addition to
working with many of our long time clients, Jake is
eager to develop new relationships as we continue to
grow.
Jake and his wife Kristen, an Omaha
native, have a daughter, Anna, and a son Joey. Outside
of the office, Jake enjoys many sports including golf,
football, running and hunting. At home, Jake and Kristen
like to entertain family and friends as much as
possible.
SUZANNE WESTERHOLT
Suzanne joined the Gene Lilly team in
1991 and is a native Nebraskan and long-time resident of
Lincoln. She has an accounting degree from
Southeast Community College and has attended the NASBP
Surety Bond School as well as additional work-related
seminars. As senior administrative assistant, Suzanne
oversees all client relations, data base management and
is executive assistant to Jim King and Bob
Cirone. In her spare time she
enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her
family and friends. She does enjoy outdoor
activities, gardening and is an avid reader.
